Happy New Year!! This will be the last note before the clock strikes 2007! Though if you are in the city this weekend, I am sure I will see you at one of the many shows over the next few days. I know you will all call me anyway but here is the general plan:
Tonight, Thursday 12/28, we're starting early with The Monophonics opening at The Red Devil Lounge. Then I know some of you are stopping by either Banyan at 12 Galaxies or Violent Femmes at the Fillmore. But we'll all end up over at the Boom Boom Room for Tracorum! The guitar player in the band is one of my favorite local musicians! And another one of our local favorites, Danny from Vinyl, is planning to stop by and sit-in. Tomorrow, Friday 12/29, I am starting out at New Orleans Social Club at the Independent. I know that some of you may be going to the Radiators or Banyan. But we should all meet up for Topaz & the Left Coast All-Stars at the end of the night at the Boom Boom. Have you seen these guys before?
