Hey BISS Listers! Are you ready to March this weekend? While we have tons of great music this weekend, don't miss this opportunity to support women's rights, human rights, civil rights, disability rights, LGBTQIA rights, workers rights, immigrant rights, reproductive, social and environmental justice. Rally at 12 PM- Civic Center and March at 2 PM After the march, you can continue to show your support at various events throughout the Bay. The BISS List pick of those events is at Great Northern as Great Northern Presents: WE LOVE WOMEN - WOMEN'S MARCH AFTER PARTY featuring Rachel Torro, Mozhgan, Elz, Lily Ackerman, Smokes, DJ M3, Tobin Ellsworth, Ali Khalili, & Cole. 9pm. $10. All Proceeds to benefit Women's March Bay Area & The Global Women's Fund. I know I am getting a little ahead of myself starting with all this talk about Saturday but it's clearly important enough to kick off this week's BISS. It's like our duty here in the SF Bay to stand up and be heard just because we can, more than most! Right? Sooooo tonight, I am finally calling myself recovered from the East Coast flu sand getting out the house.... Just as soon as I finish up this BISS and hit that SEND button! I am gonna hit up Monarch first for Smoked Out Soul with El Metate. Then I'm heading back to my hood for The Crooked Stuff with longtime friend MC Radio Active. Friday night, if I can get out of the city, I am going to Sweetwater for Green Leaf Rustlers feat Chris Robinson, Barry Sless, Pete Sears, John Molo & Greg Loiacono. But you all know how I am with crossing bridges so it's possible I might just stay local and hit up Josh Ritter with Nicki Bluhm at The Fillmore... Then again, maybe we'll hit up Josh Ritter on Saturday with Dustbowl Revival. Though I have really come to love Railroad Earth who is playing at The Warfield on Saturday night as well. Those aren't the only shows I am considering this weekend in the Bay... Here are those shows from our calendar that I personally think (IMHO) are...
