If you are only going one weekend, you might want to know who is playing on which day to help you decide which weekend to go. In that case check out:

Speaking of NOLA and JazzFest, Anders Osborne is here in the Bay playing three nights (1.24, 1.25 & 1.26) with Phil Lesh & Friends at Terrapin Crossroads. The friends on this three-day run includes Jeff Chimenti, John Molo, Anders Osborne & John Scofield.
Tomorrow night, my pick of the night is DIRTY REVIVAL plus SAL'S GREENHOUSE plus MAMA'S SOUP at Cornerstone Berkeley .

Then Friday & Saturday are the Edwardian World's Faire & 18th Annual Edwardian Ball. It's one of my favorite local weekend events to participate in every year! What is it, you ask?
"Nigh impossible to describe, but absolutely delightful to experience. The Edwardian Ball is an elegant and whimsical celebration of art, music, theatre, fashion, technology, circus, and the beloved creations of the late, great author and illustrator Edward Gorey."

"Set in a re-imagined "Edwardian Era," this multi-city, multi-media extravaganza has grown over the past seventeen years from an underground club party into an internationally recognized festival of the arts, now operating with the blessing of The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust."
If I wasn't going to the Edwardian World's Faire on Friday night, I would be heading over the GG Bridge to the Sweetwater for The New Orleans Suspects with special guest Eric McFadden.
Late night Friday, no doubt we will be at Boom Boom Room for WIL BLADES STARTING 5 plus JOE MARCINEK BAND.

Saturday night, I am excited to get down with BISS fave ERIC BOLIVAR & FRIENDS at Boom Boom Room. Plus ELEMENT BRASS BAND opens and DJ KEVVY KEV will keep us dancing before, during and after the sets.

Sunday, will probably be a day to rest and recover to be ready to go for next week. But if I get an itch to go out, it might just be a local trip to Boom Boom Room for ROTC.

Next Tuesday & Wednesday, Phil Lesh & Friends has another stellar lineup at Terrapin Crossroads . This time, the friends are featuring Karl Denson, Chris Gelbuda, Scott Metzger, John Molo, Robert Randolph & Barry Sless.

Tuesday is also the first night of Peter Murphy's 10 show run at Residency at The Chapel.
Wednesday, the amazing & talented Kendra Morris is at Brick & Mortar with Here Lies Man plus DJ heyLove.
