August 2nd - Vagaboom! Benefit Concert - Fat City SF, San Francisco

Support Vagaboom! by coming out to the show this Saturday August 2nd. Artists include: Monophonics, Triple Cobra, The Thrill of It All, think13, Charm School Dropouts, Dirty Orange Sun, Tracey Amos, & The Guverment. VAGABOOM! is a program that gives Youth an opportunity to learn to work in a team, exploring a variety of rare skills. We blend exciting aspects of art, acrobatics, circus arts, music, theater performance and production, and movement to nurture the Youth's awareness of their skills as an amazing expressive vehicle in this world. We provide a unique educational environment, and small teacher/student ratio in classes. August 8th - ZERO: A Tribute to Martin Fierro - The Fillmore, San Francisco

August 9th - Everyone Orchestra - Great American Music Hall, San Francisco

Everyone Orchestra returns to the Great American for a special night of EO featuring conductor Matt Butler, Steve Kimock, Dan Lebowitz, Chris Haugen, Mike Sugar, Audio Angel, Sasha Butterfly, Sikiru Adepoju, John Morgan Kimock, Asher Fulero, Julian Fritz and more. This unique live performance based project features an ever-changing cast of musicians creating inspirational improvisation, night after night. The Hornucopia Festival is a new festival featuring the best horn and brass driven bands in the Bay Area and beyond for two weeks of mind blowing, soul shaking shows, workshops and presentations. Taking place September 4th ? 14th at 9 different Bay Area venues, The Hornucopia Festival is a celebration of the historic and contemporary power of horn and brass music to bring people together while exuberantly bridging genres, languages, borders and cultures. **Read carefully cause the contest rules have changed**

FIRST, look through the BISS Calendar for shows that are marked with *WIN TICKETS*. Be sure to be entering no later than noon (maybe 11am to be safe) on the day of show keeping in mind that Saturday and Sunday requests should be in before noon on Friday

SECOND, spread the word about the show you want to win by sharing the information with your friends. Share the event info with your friends. This could be sharing the event or poster image online thru Facebook or Twitter or some other Social Media platform. For those of you NOT on Facebook.... (yes, I know there are a few of you out there), you could send a group email or text. Or maybe you'll hang some signs on the bathroom wall at your office. (I say this because it HAS been done before). Maybe you just have a big loud mouth and you yell about it on the corner outside another show. No matter which way you choose, this is an important part of the contest so find a way to show us what you've done to spread the word when you email biss@bisslist.com to enter.
