As the birthdays start to fly, we'll get the party going BISS style, celebrating life with dancing to good music with good friends in the city we love! As some of you remember from last year, FELA is a musical based on music and lyrics by the late Nigerian singer Fela Kuti. The musical was awesome and we had members of the cast showing up and performing all over town! Was a very special treat and should not be missed! Friday, if you are still in the east bay, check out the sweetest drops of all with the CALIFORNIA HONEY DROPS at The New Parish (*WIN). Expect to see some colors at the BBR for sure! Sunday is the 36th annual Haight Street Fair 11am to 5pm. The Haight-Ashbury Street Fair (HASF) is a one-day festival that is held annually on the second Sunday of June that celebrates and showcases the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco. Since 1978, this event has allowed people from the neighborhood, the Bay Area and the world, an opportunity to come together for one big happening. HASF features live music, a variety of foods, a festive atmosphere and a chance to to dance down Haight Street on a sunny afternoon. Be sure to get to the Stanyan stage by 1:40 for PAMELA PARKER then stick around to see KEYSTONE REVISITED with TONY SAUNDERS closing down the Stanyan Stage just like his father Merl used to do!! Make sure to also stop by Jammin on Haight and wish them a happy anniversary!!
