Sure to satisfy any hunger...ALO has a sweet little run filled with tasty nuggets... ALO's Haunted Carnival of Traveling Freaks & Frights starts off at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz on Thursday, 10/27. Then continues on to Great American Music Hall in SF on the 28th; The Palm Ballroom in San Rafael on the 29th with a day time stop at Iron Springs for all ages; The Mystic Theater in Petaluma on the 30th; and SoHo in Santa Barbara on 10/31. The theme: ALO'S Haunted Carnival of Traveling Freaks & Frights. Each night they'll explore a different corner of the Haunted Carnival... Voodoo!, Super-Human, Animals, Magic, & Haunted. Friday starts the 3 day GREAT Harvestival featuring Hot Buttered Rum, New Monsoon, Izabella, Monophonics, Dead Winter Carpenters, Ten Mile Tide, Tracorum, Swamp Zen, and more! The Great Harvestival provides a fun, family-friendly environment to laugh, dance and endulge. The Concow Campgrounds is the playground and the Sierra Nevada Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for this inaugural event. HANGTOWN HALLOWEEN BALL takes place in Placerville, CA this Halloween weekend featuring Railroad Earth, Funky Meters, Jackie Greene, 7 Walkers, David Gisman Sextet, Melvin Seals & The JGB, Zach Deputy, Elephant Revival, Poor Man's Whiskey, Moonalice, Head for the Hills, and many, many more! Through the creation of music and family, artistry and magick, dance and celebration, the festival goer, and all involved in making the Hangtown Halloween Ball happen, will be an intricate part of creating a panacea, a remedy that prolongs life, enabling all to effortlessly pass through the portal between the two co-existing worlds, Living and After. Then whatever you do, don't miss out on the militant Zombie style party at The Boom Boom Room with the STAXX BROTHERS! (*WIN) Then finish your late night off at Studio 352 with Jordan and the RituaL, starting at 2am and going til 5:30. (BYOB) Saturday....Sunny is already doing her excited happy dance for...THE WARREN HAYNES BAND doing a Halloween tribute to Sly & The Family Stone (Congrats to Viv B!) at the Warfield. (BISS hearts Warren!!) We have to split our time though cause we don't want to miss the continuation of ALO's Halloweekend Haunt (*WIN) at the Palm Ballroom in San Rafael!!
