What else is going on this week? 

You have the next FOUR days to catch Ozomatli at the Fillmore!   Friday there is also Robert Walter at The Independent.  I am hoping to hit both Ozomatli and On the One on Saturday.  I had thought about getting together a BISS bus for Primus on Saturday in Berkeley or San Jose on Tuesday but I haven?t had a chance to see if any of you guys wanted to do that.

However, I have heard from quite a few people out there that they would be in for a BISS bus to the Les Claypool Hatter's Ball on New Year's Eve with New Orlean's Social Club. Email me back so I can get a count and arrange things for us.

BISS: Thanksgiving Weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

 

What are YOU up to this weekend? Tonight I'll see you over at the Boom Boom Room for RonKat Spearman & The Katdelic Revival [plus: Special Guests] & ERIC MCFADDEN! If not, then you must be going to The Grand for Greg Allman & Friends? Though if you like good hip hop, you can catch Zion-I & the Grouch over at Slim's. I saw him at the Be The Riott and was impressed!

 

Saturday, I want to get out earlier so I can check out a band that was recommended to me, American Drag, over at the Red Devil Lounge. But then I am heading to the Boom Boom for The Greasy Beats.

 

Then on Sunday, one of the BISS Watch List bands, PARALLEL 23, is playing for FREE at the Boom Boom Room. (Hey Matt bring my poster!)

 

Fast Foward to New Years! I know some of you are going to My Morning Jacket At The Fillmore, while some of you are going to Cafe Du Nord for The Radiators. Personally - I would love for a group of us to head up to Santa Rosa for Les Claypool's Hatters Ball with Les Claypool and his fancy band & New Orleans Social Club featuring Ivan Neville (Neville Brothers), George Porter, Jr. (The Meters), Leo Nocentelli (The Meters), Henry Butler and Raymond Weber.
