BISS LISTERS!!! Did you all know that there is GREAT live music happening somewhere in this city on almost EVERY night of the week? Last week I saw Du UY Quintet on Tuesday (coming up at the Condor 3/8 & 3/17) and then Byron Rynes & Jordan Feinstein w/Paulo on drums in Smokedaddies (every Wednesday night at the Blackthorn), then on Thursday, I hit 2 venues for Kapakahi (coming up on 3/23 at the Condor) followed by Parallel 23 at the Condor. Friday night, Spaceheater rocked it out at the Condor. And then I saw most of you on Saturday at The Independent for the

DJ/VJ Stefan G is a one-man audio-visual tour de force. From his early days as a DJ in London at Dingwall's, doing jams w/ the likes of Charlie Watts and Jack Bruce, to his pioneering VJ work in Danceteria and other NYC clubs, to his current work with many of today's hottest dance parties. He is a record producer and a film-maker. Stefan G has an incredible library of audio and visual delights. He has worked with everyone from Jerry Garcia to Paul Oakenfold. Stefan is always in the center of the action. He is going to be presenting some brand new music and visuals, as well as digging deep into the stacks for this incredible event. Stefan G will get the party started and keep it going till 4am.

Partial proceeds from these shows will go to benefit victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The High Sierra Foundation was established in 2003 to raise awareness and funds for worthwhile organizations related to music, art, education and social justice. Last year the High Sierra Foundation established a special fund to give direct aid to those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and thanks to support from the High Sierra community we've been able to donate much-needed funds to the
