Tonight, Tuesday, HSMF presents TROUBADOUR SESSIONS with LEBO, MARK KARAN, JOSH CLARK & PAULA FRAZIER. This singer/songwriter series will kick off tonight at Brick and Mortar and you get to rock out with them for FREE! Wednesday, you can't go wrong with STU ALLEN at Ashkenaz in the Berkeley (*WIN) and MARK KARAN at Sweetwater in Mill Valley with Bobby Vega on bass and special guests (*WIN)!! Thursday night, BISS favorite, THE SHE'S is playing Brick and Mortar...Or relive Saturday late night at Guitarfish with AFROLICIOUS at The Elbo Room! (*WIN) On Friday night, ZIGABOO MODELISTE  is gonna show us all why he is called The King of The Funky Drums at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. (*WIN)  While in the East Bay, ORGONE & MONOPHONICS double it up at The New Parish (*WIN). Also on Friday, AFROMASSIVE is playing The Boom Boom Room - going late!! (*WIN)  Some of you might remember this band as the one who christened the stage at JAMMIN ON HAIGHT, our favorite place for all your tie-dyed awesomeness on Haight and Masonic. Saturday, you can catch PETER WHITE finishing his run at Yoshi's (*WIN) if you haven't seen him earlier in the week..Or travel to Shoreline and make the HARMONY BY THE BAY featuring THE SHINS, TEGAN AND SARA, ALISON KRAUSS, JIMMY CLIFF, BEATS ANTIQUE, MATISYAHU, KIMBRA, and many more. Wow!! What an amazing weekend everyone had at the second annual Guitarfish! I just got back late on Wednesday after breaking it all down, so please forgive the tardiness of this week's BISS newsletter. We were so blown away by the feedback we got from all of you who attended. The reports started coming in on the first night of the festival and continued through the weekend! I probably don't have to tell you, because you have already heard. The musical lineup was stellar, the people were happy and the vibe was just magical!! It's amazing to hear things like "best music festival ever" from the likes of you!! Thank you, every single one of you for your contribution to this year's Guitarfish Festival! It takes a family to raise a festival and our little baby is ready for year three!! No rest for the bay area musical community though!! We are pros here on BISS crew! So let's get on with it!! Tonight, Friday, we have some serious venue hopping to do to hit it all!!  As you have come to expect, For the Bayou, is throwing another amazing benefit show tonight at Bimbo's 365. BAY FOR THE BAYOU, Part Deux, Benefit To Help Save the Louisiana Wetlands! Bay For The Bayou is a benefit concert and auction featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Blues Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy nominee ALLEN TOUSSAINT and his BAND. Also performing are the soulful Bay Area favorites, The California Honeydrops, the melodic folk string ensemble, The Shots, & other special guests, including former San Francisco Mayor, the Honorable Willie Brown, who will say a few words. The Bike Parade begins at 11 am from Lindley Meadow in Golden Gate Park, but be there early to register. Then again, many of you may just be gearing up for night number two of Wilco at the Greek Theater in Berkeley.
