Hi!
How was your weekend? I know you were somewhere between Papa Mali with Leo Nocentelli, Bernie Worrell & Cyril Neville at The Independent, & George Clinton at the Fillmore, & Robert Randolph at the Warfield on Friday. Then there was the amazing Dr. Lonnie Smith at the Boom Boom both nights. There were more musicians than I can name here at the Eric McFadden Experience at 12 Galaxies on Saturday. And 8088 Quartet at the Condor on Saturday was a total treat for me because it was almost all the members of one of my favorite local bands, the Monophonics. Obviously, it was a great weekend for everyone!! If you have any great highlights to share, send me an email back telling me about the show and why it was a highlight for you.
