Featuring Doug Ferrari with Boxcar and Moshe Kasher -Doug is an San Francisco native and headliner who won the SF Comedy Competition, has appeared on 25 TV comedy shows, and worked with everybody from Bob Hope to Robin Williams. He is one of the great Elder Statesman Of SF Comedy. Boxcar has been entertaining and challenging audiences around the country since 1986. Balancing a routine that is as thought provoking as it is innovative and funny, Boxcar brings to light the lies and hypocrisy of politics, the media and religion, while also exposing truth and encouraging the evolution of thought. Moshe is one of the hottest young comics in what has been called a new wave of bay area comedy. He is original, brash and smart combining energetic performance with viciously funny writing.
PUBLIC PROPERTY (plus: special guests) 3/6/08 @ Boom Boom Room Public Property brings the soul, funk, and fun back into reggae. By stirring the sounds of early reggae with modern hip-hop, soca with dub, and Hawaiian ukulele with ska, the band's recipe of old and new stylings has earned them a reputation as one of the Midwest's most progressive reggae bands.

City Roots Featuring Kapakahi, The Elevators, DJ Dee 3/7/08 @ El Rincon - Take catchy pop hooks and hip-hop sensibilities, add a twist of reggae and some Latin beats, bend it together with some funk . . . it sounds like a recipe for confusion. In Hawaiian, there's a phrase for this: Kapakahi, or twisted, bent, and confused.
Steve Kimock & Friends 3/13 & 3/14 @ Great American Music Hall featuring Melvin Seals, Hutch Hutchinson, Billy Goodman & John Morgan Kimock plus more TBA **Win a pair of tickets plus a signed CD - Steve Kimock gets back to his Bay Area roots with a very special line- up of old and new FRIENDS. SK&F, Kimock's feel-good side project for more than a decade. Kimock is basing the group around an old friend, the Great, Melvin Seals on B-3 organ and keyboards, along with prodigal son, John Morgan Kimock on drums. Joining them are, veteran bassist Hutch Hutchinson and singer/songwriter Billy Goodman, of the Goodman Brothers, the band that first brought Kimock West to the Bay Area in the mid '70's.Fans will be treated to new songs, being incubated in the Kimock laboratory, known as the performance stage, as well as renewed renditions of acclaimed Kimock standards and covers.
