Now on Friday and Saturday..well, the BISS crew will be lapping a 12 block radius...totally. ZERO with Steve Kimock is playing at the GREAT AMERICAN MUSIC HALL. If you aren't headed to Zero start chugging the whiskey now because DRIVE BY TRUCKERS have a two night run at The Fillmore.....yummy...apples and whiskey (WIN TICKETS)! Friday and Saturday THE STAXX BROTHERS are playing at the Boom Boom Room. Sunny gives these funky kids a "smells good". Any band that introduces themselves as a "Puerto Riccan Jim Morrison"...you know the show is going to be good. Saturday night, the BISS crew is split between the city and East Bay. In the city, ZIGABOO MODELISTE (King of the Funky Drums) is kicking off Mardi Gras proper style at Café Du Nord (WIN TICKETS) with a Mardi Gras Costume Party!! Plus Kofy Brown opens. But some will be in the East Bay for TREY ANASTASIO (SOLD OUT) at the FOX THEATHER in Oakland.
