BISS List is proud to premiere The Staxx Brothers newest video Callin, featuring The Staquelettes!!!
| BISS Listers we have a special treat for you today!! We here at, THE BISS LIST, are premiering the newest video from The Staxx Brothers today, right now!! If you have been following the video series, The Phone Booth Graveyard Trilogy, the saga continues with this next video, Callin, featuring the The Staquelettes!! This music video is part of a collection of short films and skits that will be release as an indie film, called The Jelly Roll. The film is slated to be officially released on St Patty's Day. If you read your weekly BISS List then you know we are big fans of The Seattle based band, The Staxx Brothers! We never miss a show when they come to town. Once you get a little taste, you’ll never miss them either! "Staxx Brothers proved the closest thing to vintage Funkadelic I've ever witnessed, right down to the janky thrift store costumes and impolite wilding. A huge mob on stage, they've imbibed whatever elixir Bootsy, George and Bernie swallowed back in the day, getting up there and proudly playing rump rattlin' cartoons and then backing it up with whomping good musicianship and tunes you gotta be dead to resist... Festival planners: Book these guys! You will not be sorry." - Dennis Cook - Jambase.com This is the first song and music video featuring The Staxx Brothers singers, The Staquelettes on lead vocals. The Staquelettes are Michelle Shirley O'Connor & Angela Rickard. They are an integral part of the group, and they have been a part of every official release starting with their debut LP, The 12th Street Blues. There are more Staxx Brothers original songs in the works featuring the girls as lead vocalists, and they will be a major focus of the next music video, Sugarwalls (slated to be directed by Jeff Farrell).
