BISS Listers we have a special treat for you today!! We here at, THE BISS LIST, are premiering the newest video from The Staxx Brothers today, right now!! If you have been following the video series, The Phone Booth Graveyard Trilogy, the saga continues with this next video, Callin, featuring the The Staquelettes!! This music video is part of a collection of short films and skits that will be release as an indie film, called The Jelly Roll. The film is slated to be officially released on St Patty's Day. Festival planners: Book these guys! You will not be sorry." - Dennis Cook - Jambase.com This is the first song and music video featuring The Staxx Brothers singers, The Staquelettes on lead vocals. The Staquelettes are Michelle Shirley O'Connor & Angela Rickard. They are an integral part of the group, and they have been a part of every official release starting with their debut LP, The 12th Street Blues. There are more Staxx Brothers original songs in the works featuring the girls as lead vocalists, and they will be a major focus of the next music video, Sugarwalls (slated to be directed by Jeff Farrell). Rumors that Davin Michael Stedman discovered the girls singing in a bus station near New Orleans are exaggerated at best. The video was directed by Cisco McCarthy based on a concept the group presented of creating a scene from an anonymous French film. That was the inspiration. This is The Staxx Brothers second video in support of their 3rd studio album Jungle Cat. This single follows their lead single, Warpath. He has produced albums with acts such as Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, and Mudhoney, as well hundreds of other beloved underground bands. He's the special kind of producer with the liberty to hand select the artists he loves to work with. The Staxx Brothers feel absolutely blessed to be able to call him a collaborator and friend. Fun facts about the cast: The gentleman leading the girls to stage is Ed Bardot. He's a wonderful gentleman Davin met while working on 'Fat Kid Rules The World.' He'll be a fixture of future productions. He dresses that sharp every evening. The Frenchman who introduces the girls is Dognime Coulibaly portraying 'The Don' Prince Louie III The smooth operator leaning against the beam is none other than Caine the lead singer of Coldnote. He's reprise this role as Bumps Watson in Sugarwalls. The young man deeply and passionately kissing his paramour is an up and coming actor named Tyler Trerise. He just co starred in a Rock & Roll themed movie directed by Mathew Lillard called 'Fat Kid Rules The World.'
