Greetings and Salutations, BISS Listers!
We've got another amazing week coming at us fellow music freaks! I am actually thinking about leaving the city (for once) to check some of this week's Best of The BISS-recommended events!
It is obvious that I am engulfed by my new obsession for hunting down every new interesting show & spectacle that I know you want to know about just by the fact that we have 350+ shows from today through the end of 2017. Yes, 350!
Thursday night, my Best of The BISS picks all happen to have opportunities to WIN tickets just by answering our contest questions found on our website--look for the bright yellow text instructions. Sound complicated? It's not.
Friday is one of those nights I really wish I could clone myself. So many shows i want to be at! However, I am planning to gussy myself up for Vau de Vire Society's Soiled Dove... A circus-infused dinner theater under the Tortona Big Top w/ musical accompaniment by Jazz Mafia / Realistic Orchestra. www.TheSoiledDove.com. Then again with your help, "we" as in all of you BISS Listers, might be able to cover all the other amazing options of events Friday night---especially when almost all them have ticket giveaway contests!
Saturday, is even more epic than Fridaynot only because of the live shows we have selected to put on the BISS Calendar but also because of all the daytime options!I mean seriously, do you all have any idea how many events are happening this Saturday, June 17th?
For Saturday's LIVE musical options, these are my favorites...
Sunday gives you all kinds of choices ranging from the Monterey Pop Festival featuring Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, The Head And The Heart,Gary Clark Jr.,Kurt Vile & The Violators, Booker T's Stax Revue, Nicki Bluhm & Dirty Dozen Brass Band Hiss Golden Messenger, & ALO at Monterey County Fairgrounds to Gordon Lightfoot at Mountain Winery.
Monday is the music freaks day off...
Tuesday, however, has a few options. My favorites being Ziggy Marley **WIN TICKETS** at Mountain Winery and Zydeco Flames **WIN TICKETS** at Ashkenaz.
On Wednesday, make note of the Conservatory Grand Lighting and Surrealistic Summer Solstice Concert (Grand Lighting at approx 9:15pm) with over forty legendary musicians including members of ALO, Ratdog, The Chambers Brothers, The Jefferson Airplane, Motherhips, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Tarnation, Katdelic, Terrapin Family Band, New Monsoon, Moonalice, and more!
